Getting Lost in the Sauce

It's easy to spend hours searching even one website to find just the right thing for what you need. Sometimes that's the best pouch to carry your 40mm rounds while deployed, and others it's the flashlight you use to light up your life.
Finding what you think is the perfect whatever, only to find out that it isn't as useful as you thought, is always disappointing. I'm taking on the task of doing a lot of the digging for you. I am one of you, after all...
Much of the issue stems from exactly what this site is: part of a vast internet of people who claim they know best. I'm not going to say that I know better than anyone; I will simply say that I'm a nerd who got bored enough to start writing about something that I enjoy. If this becomes a place people like to look for info, awesome.
While I certainly hope I can generate content you find interesting and useful, these are my thoughts. I'm not a Tier 1 operator, or someone who carries a gun for work every day. I'm an Air Force mechanic who grew up with a deep love of firearms and I've gotten pretty well-versed on them by touching grass and shooting more than most. I shoot competitively when I can, and will bring some thoughts from competitions as well.
So there are my credentials, take what I have or leave it.
